Jake Jessop joins Gantenbein Law Firm's growing IRS & Tax Law department as a tax specialist.

Jessop possesses his Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources Management from the University of South Dakota. Jessop comes to Gantenbein Law Firm with a wealth of experience in human resources, employment law, business administration, risk management, leadership development, regulatory and compliance issues and organizational succession planning.
Prior to Gantenbein Law Firm, Mr. Jessop used his extensive skills and experience in leading and managerial positions for large, national corporations.
Jessop was the Senior Human Resources and Safety Manager for a corporation with assets in excess of $200 million annually. Jessop was the business partner for supplies and distribution of these assets and was in charge of ensuring ADA, benefits and payroll compliance. Jessop also counseled on risk management- including third party claims, general liability claims and company auto claims, recruitment and talent development for the large, national corporation.
Prior to his position as Senior HR, but within the same company, Jessop was the HR manager for the corporation's regional offices. Jake was responsible for conducting new hire on-boarding, benefits and safety orientation, investigating injuries and accidents, audits, settlement hearings and unemployment claims.
His prior experience also includes formal new hire procedures, safety orientations, immigration labor certification recruitment and managing affirmative action and OFCCP compliance.
